AMS, along with the USDA Cattle & Carcass Training Center (CCTC) located at West Texas A&M University, will host an educational in-person event at the Paul Engler College of Agriculture and Natural Sciences on September 21-22, 2022. This event will focus on proper cow herd management and best practices to optimize market value and will include live cattle evaluations. Guest speakers include representatives from USDA Market News, WTAMU, Livestock Marketing Association, U.S. Meat Export Federation, and several stakeholders involved with the buying and selling of cull animals and the products derived from these animals.
