1. Reviewing one container in a booking
If the applicant requests a reinspection on an individual container grade that is included in an “average composite” booking at which level (original or reinspection) is the lot certified?
Answer: All containers within the booking must be inspected and certified at the same level.
For example: 20 containers of soybeans in a booking are graded individually and the applicant requests a reinspection on one or more containers within the booking of 20 containers. In order to get certification at one level then all containers (20) within the booking must be inspected at the same (reinspection) level to get a certificate at the reinspection level.
2. Reviewing one container in a booking
Can the applicant request a review inspection of a single container within an “average composite” lot?
Answer: No, all containers inspected within the booking must be inspected and certified at the same level. For example: 20 containers of soybeans in a booking inspected individually and the applicant requests a reinspection on one or more containers within the booking of 20 containers. In order to get certification at one level then all containers (20) within the booking must inspected at the same (reinspection) level to get a certificate at the reinspection level.
3. Reviewing Factors
If the applicant requests a reinspection on a container within an “average composite” lot, do all the containers need to be reinspected on the same factor?
Answer: Yes, all the containers in the lot would need to be on the same level of review and reinspected on the same factor. If the applicant desires a different factor to be reinspected on each containers, then all factors on every container would need to be reviewed to have the option of combining those containers in a composite.
