The Agricultural Marketing Service is partnering with Agriculture Future of America (AFA) to hire recent graduates to join a diverse group of 4,000 professionals across the country who apply their knowledge and skills to create domestic and international marketing opportunities for U.S. producers of food, fiber and specialty crops, helping ensure the quality and availability of wholesome food and a wide range of goods. 

Title IX is a landmark federal law passed in 1972 to promote equality in all aspects of education. The law prohibits sex discrimination in any educational program or activity receiving federal financial assistance. This includes all educational institutions, such as K-12 schools, colleges, universities, and any other programs (e.g., 4-H) to widely disseminate information on Title IX protections on the basis of sex, as well as the name, address, and telephone number (or other contact information) of the designated Title IX Coordinator.

The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) today announced plans to purchase Fresh Grapefruit, Oranges and Mandarins for distribution to various food nutrition assistance programs. Purchases will be made under the authority of Section 32 of the Act of August 24, 1935, with the purpose to encourage the continued domestic consumption of these products by diverting them from the normal channels of trade and commerce.
