USDA Sets Dates for Paper and Paper-Based Packaging Research and Promotion Program Continuance Referendum
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) announced today that it will conduct a referendum Oct. 6-20, 2023, for eligible domestic manufacturers and importers of paper and paper-based packaging to decide whether to continue their research and promotion program.
AMS Investment to Support Coordination of Food Systems Transformation Resources
The U.S. Department of Agriculture (USDA) has entered into a cooperative agreement with the Federation of American Scientists to establish a new Food Supply Chain Impact Fellowship for experienced food systems and supply chain professionals to gain experience in federal government and to support the implementation, coordination, and oversight of USDA’s Food Systems Transformation efforts. The Federation of American Scientists is accepting applications for the fellowship until August 7, 2023.
